About The Show
Two half sisters learn the real deal about being sisters once they become neighbors in San Fransisco. Mona and Dee Dee Thorne learn they share the same father and begin to forge a relationship they never had growing up, finding out they are very different in many ways. Mona is a fiercely independent record label executive who grew only with her mother to lean on, whereas Dee Dee is a dutiful, former straight A student from a stable-parent household, although she constantly clashes with her own mother, Big Dee Dee. Mona's best friend Spencer, helps keep the peace between the two sisters and acts as everybody's voice of reason, although over time, some unearthed romantic feelings toward Mona begin to surface.
