    TV Guide panned it but I loved it. Can hardly wait for next episode!! The characters ARE fully fleshed out and it's nice to see a Southern hero who's not an imbecile or coward. The sets are very well done and reminds me of Deadwood, that wondrous …more»

    This is the kind of entertaining drama that keeps me tuned in to AMC. They continue to put out high quality, interesting dramas with intelligent writing and engrossing characters instead of the mindless entertainment on some networks. This looks to be …more»

    Show is awesome..i am very interested in my genealogy and the Civil War era and this is a perfect picture about the times..had many ancestors that fought and died in the conflict and lots of family stories about it....LOVE IT!!!!!!more»
