Hell's Kitchen (Fox)

The contestants are challenged to turn leftovers into a three course meal which is judged by Ramsey. The Blue Team wins the challenge by a point and is awarded a paint ball excursion with Ramsey. Before the dinner service, Ramsey tells the teams that they are to create their own menus that the customers can choose from. The Red Team's menu has more traditional fare while the Blue Team's is more geared towards fine dining. The men have a difficult time preparing their dishes though and the women seem to lack the stamina to finish the evening's service. No one wins the dinner service challenge, and though Bonnie thinks she is going home because of a number of errors on her part, Brad is eliminated. less

Emphasizing that the secret to being a good chef is having a discerning palate, Chef Ramsey pushes the contestants' palates to the extreme, by pitting the teams against each other in a taste-test challenge. The women win the challenge though the men suspect Bonnie was cheating. For the dinner service, the customers have comment cards to fill out and the tally would declare the winner. Bonnie has trouble understanding Ramsey's instructions and breaks down after he yells at her numerous times. Vinnie has trouble with his Beef Wellington and tries some quick fix solutions that enrage Ramsey and Melissa doesn't show good leadership skills. After a number of dishes are sent back to the kitchen for poor quality, Ramsey shuts down the kitchen. He has one person from each team nominated for potential elimination but disagrees with the Teams' choices and dismisses Vinnie. less
