I enjoy watching Gordon Ramsey on Master Chef (although sometimes he can be unnecessarily cruel, rather than constructive in his criticism) and have enjoyed his travel show very much. Wh that said, I abhor his personality on Hells Kitchen. He is abrasive and abusive, and his contestant chefs tend to be crude, rude, and cutthroat. I learn nothing about cooking techniques or new recipe ideas from this program, and that's the reason I watch any food program, If I want to watch drill sargeants browbeat their trainees, I'll look for a show with Boot Camp in the title.
