This production of Shakespeares' Henry IV part 1 has a fine cast that gives a wonderful delivery of this fine play. Jon Finch gives a very fine performance as Henry IV. Jon Finch has the kind of voice where he could read a phone book and it would sound like poetry. Anthony Quayle is hilarious as Sir John Falstaff. If you have to read this play for school this is an excellent tool in understanding The King's English and makes the class more interesting

About The Show

The first of two plays by William Shakespeare chronicling the violent reign of the usurper King Henry IV. The newly crowned monarch faces rebellion from the powerful Percy family in the north.
