When Jane is called upon to help save her best friend Mandy's marriage, she and Mandy's husband, Will, fall in love. Jane Thornton, a New York Music attorney, is taking her first vacation since the death of her husband two years ago. She is flying to Seattle to surprise her best friend, Mandy Roberts, for her birthday. After her birthday party, Mandy confides to Jane that she wants out of her marriage.
