I loved watching "Hope Island". It was one of the few series on t.v.
that was wholesome & true to life. The actors were great & the
stories believable. We need more series like this one. I have taped
most of the previous shows & wondered if there are more to come
in the future. An ardent fan. Thirsty for more.

About The Show
Series follows the adventures of a newly ordained minister, Daniel Cooper, who arrives on a small island just a ferry ride away from Seattle, to become the minister of the island's abandoned church. The islanders, a population of eccentrics and dreamers, regard Daniel with curiosity and suspicion. However, many of the residents soon realize they can benefit from Daniel's leadership. Among Hope Island's residents: Widow's Walk tavern owner and town cynic Alex Stone and her son Dylan; Hope's sole law enforcement officer Kevin Mitchell; life-long Hope native Molly Brewster and her outlandish and over-eager business-minded father, Brian Brewster; Callie Pender, owner of Hope's only local newspaper; and Nub Flanders, a mysterious introvert with many hidden talents.
