Give Neil an Emmy for Barney already

How I Met Your Mother still offers great writing, directing and acting. One of the few comedies I can truly laugh out loud at. Neil Patrick Harris in particular has done a superb job developing his "Barney" character. Barney is neck-and-neck with Sheldon from "The Big Bang Theory" as one of the best comedy characters on tv. Neil truly deserves a Primetime Emmy Award for this role. It's a shame Hollywood hasn't gotten this right yet.
About The Show
Narrated through flashbacks from the future, comedy recounts how architect and eternal romantic Ted realized he had better get a move on if he hoped to find the true love found by his best friend Marshall and his wife Lily. Helping him in his quest is Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women; and Robin, a pretty newscaster whom Ted at first thinks is the one before realizing they're better off as friends.
