This could easily be concidered the best BBC series created. Stocked full of great actor such as Derek Jacobi, Sian Phillips, John Hurt, and many many more this series goes deep into detail of Rome from Augustus through Claudius. Thirteen episodes (just over 12 1/2 hours) can be pretty hard to devote yourself to the first time, in fact, I don't know of anyone who wasn't reluctant to watch it because of the length. However; I also do not know of anyone who has seen it …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
