my rating is EXCELLENT, the stars won't click in.
This is just the best show! At first I didn't much care for Mary's attitude, now I love her. Love the writing and interplay between the characters, and the story lines, is excellent. Each personality has it's own depth. Mary's crusty take-no-prisoners exterior hides a soft hidden heart, she cares deeply for those she protects, as well as her goofy family. I love Lesley Ann Warren (Jinx) in everything she does, but especially as Mary's mother. She always brings her heart and soul into a role. Jinx is so damaged, and trying to hard (& successfully) to recover deep hurt. She's my hero. I love Marshal and his dry delivery and deep heart of a lion loyalty to Mary. Each character is so well cast. None are 'cutsey-poo', which I can't stand in a mature roll. Thanks for 5 wonderful seasons, and if it's possible, I'd love to have you back much, much longer.
