Updated version of "The Invisible Man," the novel by H.G. Wells. Darien, a small-time thief avoids a third-strike prison sentence by undergoing a surgical experiment which enables him to become temporarily -- and often accidentally invisible. Forced to enlist as a secret weapon for a ramshackle, underfunded intelligence agency as the ultimate secret weapon against crime, Darien balances his professional obligations against the tantalizing mischief that no clear-thinking invisible man could resist. Inevitably, an evil scientist named Arnaud, seeking to profit from the secrets of invisibility, hunts down Darien -- with disastrous results.
