Mike wakes up to find the town job board on fire and quickly wakes the others. They are unable to put the fire out though. Jonathan arrives and tells the kids that it was no accident. There will be no job board or journal. They are on their own. The kids take to looting the town, but later the council implores them to help clean up their mess and make things right. A special $20,000 Gold Star is awarded to Zach. Then the kids complete three tasks to prepare for the party on the last night and win three $50,000 Gold Stars. In the final town council meeting, the council awards the stars to Sophia, Morgan and Migle. The kids then must say a tearful good-bye to each other. less

About The Show

Cameras follow 40 kids for 40 days, between the ages of 8-15. They are placed in an abandoned ghost town, and attempt to build a new society from scratch. They must survive with no adult supervision or modern luxuries. Rather than have a weekly elimination, the winner (as voted by their peers) receives a special "reward" at the end of each show. All the participants are free to leave and go home whenever they choose.
