Kidnapped

On a rainy New York morning, the idyllic existence of Conrad Cain, a self-made millionaire with a long list of enemies, and his well-to-do wife Ellie is torn apart when their 15-year-old son Leopold is kidnapped on his way to school - and his bodyguard Virgil is left to die. Desperate to find his son, Cain enlists the services of Knapp, a professional investigator who works outside the law's strict rulebook to retrieve kidnapping victims and his partner Turner. Meanwhile, operating opposite Knapp are Special Agent Latimer King, an experienced FBI agent who postpones his retirement due to a vested interest in this complicated case, as well as King's colleague and antithesis Agent Andy Archer. less

As Virgil is prepped for surgery Special Agent Latimer King realizes something is wrong, as the hired assassin attempts to tie up loose ends by posing as a surgeon. Elsewhere Knapp goes undercover to investigate the specialized bullet that struck down Virgil. Meanwhile, Conrad Cain is interrogated by detectives regarding the murder of his childhood friend who was last seen leaving the Cain's residence. Dana Delany tries to find comfort by joining an anonymous group for parents whose children have been abducted. less
