Don't get me wrong, I love Kitchen Nightmares. But the BBC version is slightly better since it concentrates on the food more. The FOX version is more focused on drama and the makeover experience.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

THE BEST SHOW ON THE WEB. I DON'T CARE IF IT IS REHEARSED - I CAN'T STOP WATCHING. I AM LEARNING DO'S AND DON'TS IN MY OWN RESTAURANT. I REALLY LIKE THE WAY CHEF DOES HIS MARKETING. IT'S A SHOW, BUT IT'S KITCHEN.more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful-

I completely agree with Jennifer about the differences in the shows from the two networks. The Fox (U.S.) show is much more abrasive and obsenity laden versus the BBC version. I believe, but don't know for sure, that the different cultures command …more»1 of 1 people found this review helpful-

Has anyone else who has watched the British version on BBC noticed that he screams and curses at the Americans more than he does the Europeans???

i noticed gordon wearing an earpiece early on in the series almost indicating he is being coached. i just feel some of the yelling matches are orchestrated. it seems they have a shouting match and then 15 mins later a miracle always occurs. while i …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful
