Luther

Just learned that LUTHER ~ as well as its lead actor ~ have been nominated for 2012 Emmys. Fantastic! I cannot wait to see more episodes. Well written, beautifully-developed characters and clever story lines. Also, LOVE the music theme. Idris Elba's acting is detailed: he demonstrates a full range of emotions, including angst, vulnerability, curiosity, love and a variety of angles within that love, the passion for what's right even in the face of what's wrong. The tasty storylines that flirt with the smart-quirky-evil female lead is intriguing and oddly enhance the complexity to Luther's character. I certainly hope she ~ and the actress who plays her ~ return. I wish I could be more articulate in this review: This is an excellent show and it needs to get LOTS of attention. Please keep producing it, BBC.
