This show is one of my favorites of the past few years -- I love the characters and the writing, and the production values are so fantastic I'll watch an episode a couple of times just to enjoy the period details they so painstakingly put together. It's a peek into a world that seems so far away, but our parents lived in it. I have to admit, it's helped me to understand some things about my mom that I now see are products of her time. :-) Super casting, great writing and directing -- I want to see more! The actors are so well suited to their roles. It's a real treat.
