Gibbs, scrapping the bottom of the barrel

I have been watching NCIS for a long time now and I absolutely love the show. At least until you pared Gibbs up with Samantha She is no where even close to being "his type". I picture him with someone more attractive and with more class than her. She is way beneath him in my book. I am really finding the show hard to be believable with her as his girlfriend. His character should be able to do much better. Thanks for listening

About The Show

Action drama with liberal doses of humor that focuses on the sometimes complex dynamics of a team forced to work together in high-stress situations. Taciturn NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a former Marine gunnery sergeant, whose skills as an investigator are unmatched, leads this troupe of colorful personalities. His staff includes NCIS Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo, an ex-homicide detective with unparalleled field instincts whose quick wit makes him a team favorite; youthful and energetic forensic specialist Abby Sciuto, a talented scientist whose sharp mind matches her Goth style and eclectic tastes; NCIS Special Agent Timothy McGee, an MIT graduate whose brilliance with computers far overshadows his insecurities in the field, and Ziva David, perhaps the most dangerous member of the team, a former Mossad agent now Probationary Agent and newly sworn in U.S. citizen. Assisting the team is medical examiner Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard, who knows it all because he's seen it all; and NCIS director Leon Vance, an intelligent, highly trained agent who can always be counted on to shake up the status quo. These special agents travel the globe to investigate all crimes - from murder and espionage to terrorism and stolen submarines - with Navy or Marine Corps ties.
