About The Show
Drama series about a New York tabloid (the "New York Reporter") with an emotionally-charged atmosphere and a hard-driving, hard-living staff. Editor-in-chief Louise Felcott has worked hard to earn the nickname "The Dragon." She's tough, but has good instincts. Felcott's beleagured lieutenant in the newsroom battlefield is the managing editor, Mitch Cotter, a man who has dedicated his life to the newspaper business. Jack Reilly, a two-time runner-up for the Pulitzer Prize, is an aggressive veteran columnist. Nipping at Reilly's heels is the sharp young columnist Angela Villanova. The love-hate relationship between Reilly and Villanova extends beyond the newsroom. Nan Chase has clawed her way to the top as a gossip columnist. Loosely based on the feature film, "The Paper."
