News Radio was one of the funniest shows on NBC. The writing was great and the chemistry on the set was perfect. (As perfect as you can get with Andy Dick around.) For years the show remained fresh and quirky, with a lot of attention paid to character development. News Radio had a large ensemble cast that was hard to manage, but this show pulled it off. Everyone played nice together and it showed on screen. The chemistry between Dave Foley and Stephen Root was worth the entire show. And then to have Phil Hartman was the icing on the cake. I really miss this show and am grateful for the DVDs and to TBS for keeping News Radio on the air in syndication.
