I loved the zanyness of the characters. Teaching a pet tortoise to sit up and beg. The episode with the avocados being mistaken at a dinner party for melons by the inebriated elderly maid. Just thinking of them make me giggle. I'm sure there are hundreds more I've forgotten.
I know, another story of misfits finding each other and true love but the situations and characters are so sweet I hope somewhere in the infinite universe they exist.
