Kudos to NOVA & PBS. This was a great start to Black History Month. As a native of Chicago and a resident of Oak Park, I knew about some of Dr. Julian's accomplishments and how he was treated when his family moved from Maywood to Oak Park. This was a wonderful opportunity to know more about this man. I found the program was informative about his life, schools attended, the company he worked for. I had no idea that he had the opportunity to study in Europe. It was a loving tribute and a great history lesson all around.
