Oliver asks for more compensation and is banished. He is bought by the local undertaker. While working for Mr. Sowerberry, the older apprentice gives Oliver a hard time. Oliver runs away and is found by the Artful Dodger who takes him under his wing. He is brought into a life of crime putting Oliver's life at risk.
