When her job in the LAPD's Sex Crimes unit becomes unrewarding and overwhelming, Detective Jean Martin fights for a transfer into the all-male Robbery/Homicide division. Jean is put to the test when she and her new partner, Detective Dan Collins, are handed two tough cases, one involving a string of bank robberies committed by a gang of youths and a rape case, which turns into a homicide when the woman dies.
