Once Upon a Time and You're Hooked...

Once Upon a Time is pure genius. I happened to catch an ad on the internet and I honestly didn't think it very interesting. Then I came home that same night in October to find the rest of my family watching Once Upon a Time. I thought I'd give it a shot, I watched the Pilot, and I was immeadietly hooked. It explores the thought of What exactly happened after the 'happily ever after'? , and I think that the creators and cast have done an amazing job of doing that. Although, no doubt, many other people have wondered about concept, I don't think there are any other shows on air quite like it. I also love the fact that each episode stands on it's own; not like other dramas I've seen. Another fascinating bit about it is that they have incorporated ideas no one has ever come up with [Remember Stealthy, the eighth dwarf? And Little Red Riding Hood the werewolf?] and created relationships that are so creative [Like the Evil Queen and Maleficent, and Snow White and Red Riding Hood]. Once Upon a Time also stresses the battle between good and evil that everyone faces; a very nice touch. And the actors! I cannot begin to explain how well they fit their roles. Each time I see Josh Dallas [Prince James/David Nolan] I can't help but feel excited and wonder what valiant act he'll perform. Every time I see Lana Parrilla [Regina Mills/The Evil Queen] I have to shiver. I won't even try to explain what I feel like when Henry, Emma, and Mary-Margret all make their appearences, because it can't do it justice.

In closing, it's a fascinating show that is being done beautifully with amazing actors and actresses, rich music, and good plain imagination. I absolutely LOVE it!! Haven't seen Once Upon a Time? You should.
