One Life to Live

I started watching both All My Children and One Life To Live when they first started and I was a young girl. I was so happy when the VCR was invented! Over the years I laughed, cried and clapped and never tired of the well acted and well written story lines. I especially liked the gutsiness (not sure if that's a word or spelled right) of the writers on All My Children when they would have a story line that was quite controversial for the time. I was astounded that the network brass could think another boring reality show would be better programming. I guess I come from the school of thought...DON'T FIX WHAT'S NOT BROKEN. I did TRY watching the new shows...ONCE! Now, I watch something else that I recorded, a movie or read my latest book. I keep hoping that I'll open my morning paper or turn on my laptop and be jumping for joy to find that those network yukky,yuks decided what a terrible mistake they made and our wonderful soaps will be returning.
