One Tree Hill

Drama about estranged half-brothers who play basketball and eventually fall for the same woman. Nathan is the son of privilege and star of Tree Hill, North Carolina's local high school team, with a beautiful and sensitive cheerleader girlfriend, Peyton, while Lucas is the son of a single, working mother, Karen, and an underground basketball figure around town. When a bizarre set of circumstances puts Lucas on the same team as Nathan and reveals their familial relationship, they find themselves competing in the game as well as rivals for Peyton's affections. Their shared father, Dan, must now confront his own failed basketball dreams and the relationships he has with both young men and Lucas' mother, the woman he walked out on in high school.
