Every once in a while there comes a show that makes owning a TV worthwhile amidst all the perverse dim-witted shows the TV execs keep picking. To have replaced out of practice with some vague Jenna show and justify the replacement with a ratings argument - just panders to the lowest common denom. How about picking up the cognitive abilities a wee bit. Maybe it's a sign of the times. Time to throw that TV out!
About The Show
Despite being accomplished and successful, a young therapist experiences nagging feelings of failure since among his single siblings (emergency room doctor lesbian sister and womanizing plastic surgeon brother) and divorced parents (gastroenterologist father and cardiologist mother) he's the only they don't consider to be a real doctor. As his own marriage comes to an end, though, he also finds himself the recipient of their genuine sympathies.
