Gretchen? Really? What are you thinking?

I agree that IGretchen should not have won. And I am confused about two things. One: In the past, the judges were critical of styles that were "just something you could put in any store and it would be similiar to all the rest of the clothes." Yet...Gretchen won because she was doing the "same" thing as the new styles coming out...and her close would be easily sold. I liked several of he outfits and her rust colored blends...they are clothes that I would select for me! But.. I'm 69 years old and carry 40 pounds more than I should. So for me...some of her outfits would work. But Mondo....He's the new and upcoming. He's the one with the new ideas and the stylish flair. You said his collection looked "young"...most new styles are for the young. Certainly not for old frumpy gals like me! Who determines "whats the up coming style?" Designers! Designers with new ideas. Secondly::...Michael C. was shot down last week because he didn't have enough color in his collection....yet all of them had a blend of the same color in their collections...Andy's stuff was all silver and grey...Gretchen....rust and green...????? It's difficult when it seems the perspective of what's ok and what isn't ok changes from week to week. That being said....I still love the program and to be very honest, it is the ONLY show on TV that I watch. I'm looking forward to next season!
