Cause I KNOW I can do a better job. 15 years in the future and thats all the further they have gotten. We as humans CAN live very nicely without ANY conveniences of the modern world. not too much fun but hey we did it up to a hundred years ago come on on people really. And the initial guy, he knew what was coming and did nothing to prepare.. says to his wife" fill the bathtub with water" good grief a little late wouldn't you say and to tell his daughter to remember to taste of ice cream ( for heavens sake there are hand crank ice cream makers ..a little ice ,salt, cream from one of the cows and fruit from the wild and presto you have ice cream...just have to work at it! And the father and his brother just look great 15 years later somewhere in the neighborhood of 45 years old , specially the brother.... man I want a 45 year old man that can kill with a sword... no less .....around 25 guys in less that five minutes. Wouldn't you as a group in a time of upheaval and unrest protect your small hamlet with more than a group of five houses you would have some kind of a stockade. This protects your food crops, livestock, and gee guess what THE PEOPLE. This show had a great premise but alas I won't watch cause it's STUPID and a waste of time!!
