I'm a 68 year old grandmother of 3, and have been watching SNL faithfully since 1984. Even though a lot of its content is coarse, the talented cast and some gems of outstanding humor trumped most of the tasteless content. Lately the balance has tipped towards the latter. I can tolerate a lot of that, but if something doesn't make me laugh somewhere along the line it becomes time to break my SNL habit. My question is: can't you be funny withOUT landing in the toilet?? Try harder. Please.
