Great INSPIRATION for potential entrepreneurs..and provides valuable insight as to how big business is done!
And...for those of you bashing Kevin O'leary...Come on people..He is great for the ratings. While he may sometimes err on the side of harshness, I have a huge respect that he tells it like it is. Lets face it..sometimes people need to hear the blatant truth.
Maybe sometimes Kevin even warrants the title of the 'Simon Cowell" of Shark Tank...but not only can he be very amusing, underneath I think he does have a big heart (just like Simon does) ... I just think he is a very intelligent businessman that has a great eye for successful business opportunities, and little tolerance for wanta-be entrepreneurs that can't.. or don't want to.. face reality.
I have a product myself that many people have tried to encourage me to introduce to Shark Tank. However, though assessing the Shark's criteria, no matter how often I'm told that my product is 'the best they've ever tasted', I've come to the 'reality' the Sharks would most likely assess my product as 'just another food product with little proven sales or revenue'.
In fact, at this stage of my endeavor, Kevin would likely eat me alive on bringing it to Shark Tank..and probably rightfully so.
Takes all kinds to make the world go around.. I value all of the Shark Tank team members..wouldn't change a thing.
I love specific characteristics about each and every one of them. Entrepreneurs alone don't make the ratings.. Its the blend of different personalities that make the show. Love it..and hope it airs forever!
