I watched the film again recently and thought it was a good film the actors did very well and Lindsay wagner is great as Charlotte it shows how many wives are battered by their husbands for no reason and blame themselves for their anger if something is not right or gone wrong so they have to take it out on someone their wife or children. Charlotte stayed as long as she could, thinking he would change but found that after nearly 20 years he hadn't.
