About The Show
A story of courage as seen through the experiences of Julie Ward, a sixteen-year-old paraplegic who learns to live with and overcome the disadvantages of her handicap. The program is based on NBC's 1980 television movie, "Skyward," and attempts to continue the story where the television film left off. Julie's plan to reunite her estranged family for Christmas almost results in tragedy when, after earning her private pilot's license, she crash-lands in the wilderness during a solo mission.
