The elements are there for this show to grab us in but the resistance is in the choppiness of the scenes. It is like the actors are rehearsing each scene of the tv show but nothing flows together.It almost makes it farcical. You see them overacting IAngelica Houston) and it is hard to buy their stories.
Julia(Messing) leaves her house in the late nite to go walking in NYC in her pajamas to have a tryst with Michael. There was nothing believable about that action,although the actual sex scene was well done,even if it was hard to think of "Grace" like that..
Ellis offers to assist AH. with her computer and immediately he works for her and pals with her.. No development of this story line here.
I can't quite put my finger on it but it needs better development amongst the characters to engage us.
I do like Julias townhouse though.
