Smash

I don't watch T.V. that much, but it seems to me that it is turning more and more into garbage T.V. I don't recall seeing simulated sex scenes on regular TV growing up. If there were to be topless women and such indecent reenactments on TV, they were usually on cable, not primetime.We didn't have cable and were not forced to buy cable, like now, to watch news etc... so certain shows just never reached our house. All the cursing, rubbish,bedroom behaviors etc., in general, on TV are turning it into a garbage. Be it, I know that actors/actresses are adults on Smash, but still we all know that many teens/preteens are also watching this and/or are exposed to these kinds of scenes and filth just by flipping the remote control. I believe what they watch on TV has an effect on their behavior and morals. No wonder so many youth have low morals and are like sexually active at like 11-12. It is like foul language, promiscuity(just chaperone a prom or Middle/High school dance) agressive behavior(bullying), extreme disrespect to teachers/adults and all the foul behaviour alike that are helping desensitize this upcoming generation. This makes me think of that movie, KickA**, which the name alone disturbing, has this little girl with purple hair who looks about 11-12 and has an extremely disrepectful, foul little mouth and behavior. It makes you just want to pick her up and put some soap in that mouth. In my family, her behavior would have gotten me a spanking, but some people who watch that kind of mess think it is cute or cool to watch a dirty mouth, rude, little child. Kids see this behavior modeled , on TV, with schoolmates, and unfortunately sometimes at home. The rubbish is there on the TV and even when one is monitoring the TV the best they can, kids can still find a way to watch this trash. Overall, values just are low and it comes out in their behavior. It is just sad when I see kids at my school and in general copying this mess.
