About The Show
An ethnically diverse group of kids attends Woodridge, a private, coed boarding school on Manhattan's Upper Westside. The faculty tries to instill an education as well as sometimes serving as unwilling surrogate parents. On one side stands Frances Harmon, Woodridge's administrator; an alumni of the school during its glory days as an upper crust private girls academy, she is dedicated to preserving standards of genteel decorum. Her poise tends to slip around the sarcasm of youthful, working-class teacher Katherine "Kit" Weaver and the presence of sexy gym teacher Dan Rossini.
