Based on the true story of volunteer military escort officer Lt. Col. Michael Strobl, also a Desert Storm vet, who was asked to accompany the body of slain soldier Lance Cpl. Chance Phelps back to his home in Dubois, Wyoming in the Spring of 2004. Phelps had been deployed just a month earlier and was awarded posthumously with the Bronze Star.
