Why this show flopped on the WB is still a mystery to me. I watched it when it aired and loved it. Recently, I viewed the 8 episodes again on youtube, and still fail to see why it received such horrible ratings. Drama which updates the adaptation of the legend of Tarzan. Twenty years ago, a plane carrying John Clayton and his parents crashed in the African jungle, killing the elder Claytons and leaving John to fend for himself. Only to be known as Tarzan, he is captured by his uncle Richard Clayton, head of Greystoke Industries and brought back to his childhood home, New York City. When a routine crime brings New York Detective Jane Porter into his life, they are immediately transfixed by one another.
