TVFollowing a demonstration on radioactivity, Peter Parker, a graduate student at Empire State University, is bitten by a spider that had been exposed to the deadly effects of the radiation. Shortly thereafter, Peter realizes that the spider's venom has become a part of his bloodstream and he has absorbed the proportionate power and ability of a living spider. Seeking to use his new powers to battle evil, Peter develops a special costume to conceal his true identity. To learn of crimes he acquires a position as a photographer for the "New York Daily Bugle" and carries on an existence much like another mild-mannered reporter. -
