Comedic Timing With Deadly PrecisionBy on Mon, Feb 20, 2012 7:31 PM PST
Big Bang Theory is one of the funniest shows of all time. It is funnier than Seinfeld ever was. It has better character blend than 70's show. It has better character development than Scrubs. How I Met Your Mother is a shadow and a wish compared to this dream team. Alas only Friends beats it and that is because they had Ross and Rachel. Big Bang seems afraid to venture there with Leonard and Penny but as the anchor character and love interest team it has to be done! Like Friends the chemistry is equally dependent on each character. There have been man ysitcoms that could have trimmed a character here and there and would have had an equal or better show! But with Big Bang when one is missing for too long in an episode I miss them! I'm extremely glad that they calmed down Howard's character. He was too much of a horn dog in the beginning! I love the new love interests, Amy and Bernadette. Instead of bloating the show or slowing it down it just gave more places to roam! The show is genius and getting better rather than losing steam! Favorite episode of all time is Sheldon in the ball pit! It has that Lucy eating chocolate balls or romping in grapes kinda feel! Its a classic in the making!
About The Show
Though roommates Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty, a Cheesecake Factory waitress and aspiring actress named Penny, moves in across the hall. While the eccentric Sheldon may be content spending his nights hanging with their equally socially dysfunctional friends and fellow CalTech scientists, clueless, would-be Lothario Wolowitz and shy Koothrappali, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities...including love.
