I've had some of those conversations...

The first episode of this show that I saw hooked me IMMEDIATELY! I'm a geek, a nerd, whatever you want to call it. I own comic books, like math, play role playing games, attend SCI-FI conventions and (this is a dead giveaway) I'm in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism. Some of you are nodding your head, for the rest of you, it is a Medieval Re-creation group that studies the arts, sciences, culture and martial arts of the Medieval world).

I've had some of their conversations with my friends. As corny as some of them are... I record the show when I'm out, and it's one of the few that I watch "live" rather than wait until I can zip through the commercials.

The show has had me laughing hysterically at the geek and non-geek humor alike. On occasion to the point that I can't breathe. If you haven't checked it out yet, do your self a favor on Thursday night. Take a look. You won't be sorry!

About The Show

Though roommates Leonard and Sheldon are brilliant physicists, none of that genius helps them interact with people, especially women. All this begins to change when a free-spirited beauty, a Cheesecake Factory waitress and aspiring actress named Penny, moves in across the hall. While the eccentric Sheldon may be content spending his nights hanging with their equally socially dysfunctional friends and fellow CalTech scientists, clueless, would-be Lothario Wolowitz and shy Koothrappali, Leonard sees in Penny a whole new universe of possibilities...including love.
