Kim won. The producer's and NBC should come back next season and their first announcement should be, "We gave Kim $250k also". If you run the numbers that Kim would have had to lose to win, then she would have been a stick figure-concentration camp victim looking person. I watched with my 15 year old and 19 year old daughters and we were all offended. Women at work were all offended by the audacity of expecting that Kim could or should have had to lose more weight. She was in the lower quartile of healthy weight and our view is if it comes down to the last two contestants and the loser of the two is at the lowest quartile of their healthy weight, then they get $250k also. NBC, please do the right thing and make this a WIN not just for Kim but for healthy weights. Everyone who watched agreed that you have never had a contestant look as good as Kim, and lose.
By the way, throughout the show, I didn't really like Kim and even at the end there were character traits about her that weren't really endearing, but as the show marched on, she became warmer and more human. I loved how her son greeted her at the White House and how her mother supported her. Lots of us got to know Kim as someone who might be just like us. She deserves every penny of the win. Give it to her. Nothing against Jeremy but let's get real; the dude is young and was morbidly obese. This shouldn't be a winner take all situation. I am 52 and lost over 50 lbs on my own. I credit Kim. She was the most fit, toned and rockin hot winner this season. NBC, turn this lemon into lemonade. Take it from me, if you start next season's show by giving Kim $250k and making these points, you MIGHT have a chance at salvaging this show.
