This is a great movie for the whole family ,especially if you have any Scottish blood in you. At the end when Fred MacMurray's son is dieing , his son sends his father a note to only open if he didn't make it. The son dies and the note says something …more»0 of 0 people found this review helpful

After many years with "My Three Sons" Fred MacMurray made his TV movie debut in this pilot about a concerned father whose brood consists of one son, three daughters, two sons-in-law, and the Chinese-American boyfriend of the youngest girl. The concept worked better later as "Eight Is Enough."
