One of the funniest shows ever!

I loved the quirky characters, and the fact that everything didn't always turn out right.

A suicidal man decides to wait to kill himself to attend a party of third-grade classmates; he finally meets a woman with whom he really hits it off...only to run over her on his way out of the parking lot. And then, just as he's actually downed his bottle of pills, he finds that the woman wants to see him again.

A classmate gives a weather report outside in the middle of a hurricane, and is hit by a flying stop sign, on live TV. Her high school prom date, who decided on prom night that he was gay, is watching the report with his significant other, and they react with what appears to be horror...after which they exclaim, "We've got to see that again!"

I loved the way the show was different than what you usually expected, and the cast was all first rate, with just enough over-the-top acting to complement the absurd scripts, (who can resist laughing at one of the most effeminate men you've ever seen, exclaiming to his wife, who's still upset about her prom date being gay, "You don't need to worry! You've got a _real_ man now!" ???

CBS -- bring this show back. And for crying out loud, put season one on DVD!
