John, I'm 70 yrs old and wasn't a fan of your show but I watched Crammer from time to time.
You asked all the right questions that I've been thinking for a long time. My Father was a stock market geek and lived through the great depression. I listened and learned a little ( wished I had listened more). I'm one of those people who put my retirement money in a fund, trusted my invester. What a huge mistake, he was an expert like Crammer. I think there are millions of us middle class who are now in dire strates because of them. I think there is something to be said about stashing the money under the bed. It would have been safer. Thank you for saying what I was thinking. Why isn't any one on Wall Street going to prision, plus the CEO's. They made an example of Marthat Stewart. When they were the ones who were playing us. Marthat was only playing with her money and listening to the wrong people too. But I think she is a great example that she took it like a "man", did her time with dignity. Dusted her self off and reinvented her self.
