Jon Stewart missed two points in his gun control presentation:
No tyrants threatening to overthrow the government have been fought off or killed by private citizens in over 200 years of the 2nd ammendment's existence, but thousands of men, women and children have lost their lives at the hands of gun-wielding citizens.
What's more, ironically the NRA has itself become the tyrant that with their insane paranoia is holding the US hostage with a fantasy of fear. Unfortuately, THIS kind of insanity cannot be fought or cured with more guns in the hands of sane or "good" people.
Has the proliferation of guns in the US reached a point of no return?
