A two-part miniseries, which continues the WW II story detailed in the 1963 theatrical release, "The Great Escape." The project is based on the final section of the novel "The Great Escape" (not included in the film), which involves the trackdown and roundup that took place after the war, of the Gestapo killers who murdered 50 of the 76 POW escapees who took part in the real-life prison camp escape.
