I happened upon a rerun of The Middle this summer and was immediately taken with the great characters and witty writing. How could I not know that the show had been on for a year?! Guess I've been watching too much PBS because so much of what is on network t.v. is too violent or much too consumed with sex. I actually bought the DVD of the first season and got my daughter and grand kids addicted to the show. I tout it every chance I get. Just not enough good shows like this on t.v. The shows on ABC Wednesday evening go downhill quickly after The Middle and I no longer watch them.
