I am a TV junkie. Love TV and watch a ton of it. More times than not there are shows you watch because they are somewhat entertaining, they take you away from your regular daily routine, they show you other lifestyles and what it is like in another time or place.
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!! Where to start? Topical, well written, informative, enlightening, and EXCITING! It follows a group of folks who are creating a News show on a cable TV network. You see how they decide on a show, what the "back story" of it is, and how it plays out.
My husband is not a real TV enthusiast, watches while he plays on his Kindle, but this show, he is ALL OVER! The characters are SO believable. The writing is phenomenal, to me it sounds like REAL LIFE discussions, one talking over the other, sparring with one another and resolving conflicts.
I cannot even begin to express how much I love this show. Sadly, when those rare really good shows come on, they get cut all to quickly. I hope this is not the case.
If you don't have the time in your life to actually pay attention to the world happenings, this is a way to "catch-up". Opening episode starts with the BP oil spill in the gulf and thus far we the episodes are covering just about all the BIG NEWS headlines that have come since.
I highly recommend this show. Tell ALL your friends. Please look it up and watch it from the beginning, the characters have developed so well and you really feel like you know them. I can't wait to see Sunday's show!
