The Newsroom is the best show on television period....It's the Wire all over again except in a newsroom due to the strength of the writing...Jeff Daniels was made for the part of Will McAvoy and the casting is letter perfect..and it's great to see Sam Waterston not as a Jack McCoy type character....And it's a show about real people (a la Girls)...and there's no Vampires, or Gothic stuff, or over the top quirkiness that HBO seems to be moving toward....
